Cottage holidays in Lake Saimaa

Tourism operations began in Loikansaari in 1974 with one cottage and a yard shed. Over the decades, operations have grown moderately, and today three beach villas and five beach cottages serve guests. For many, Loikansaari has become familiar to generations – a childhood vacation spot has become a place to which people return with their own families.

For over 50 years, the same values have been cherished in Loikansaari: respect for nature, peace, simplicity and authentic Finnish cottage life. Here people come to stop, breathe and be present.
